On 20 Sep. 2019, the Second International Maritime Legal Forum of Free Trade Harbor and General Meeting of Maritime Professional Committee of All China Lawyers Association kicked off in Zhoushan city, Zhejiang, the theme to be Multi Solution Mechanism of Maritime Disputes and Innovative Development. Some 300 people attended the meeting. They were from Ningbo Maritime Court, Wuhan Maritime Court, government departments, trade promotion systems along rivers and coasts, arbitration institutes at home and abroad, commercial chambers, university professors, law firms, enterprises, maritime legal agencies and etc.
Xu Zhangyan, the deputy secretary of the city, Yue Qinfang, the vice chair of the All China Lawyers Association, and Gu Chao, the vice director and general secretary of the China Maritime Arbitration Committee attended the meeting and delivered remarks.
Director Yang Yunfu of this law firm and director Wei Mingzhong of Shanghai branch office participated in the meeting, Director Wei made a speech titled Legal Practice and Innovation along the Maritime Silk Road-Conflicts of Cross-boarder Maritime Bankruptcy and Ship Arrest. His speech received high praise.
On the afternoon and evening of the 19th, Maritime Professional Committee of All China Lawyers Association held director meeting and committee general meeting consecutively. As the vice director of the committee, Mr. Yang attended the meeting.
