“2019 Coastal Shipowner Summit by CSA Bulk Committee” kicked off at Guangzhou Ocean Hotel on 28 Feb 2019. The summit was hosted by China Shipowners' Association (CSA), and organized by COSCO Shipping Bulk Co., Ltd. Present at the summit were Zhang Guoshou the standing vice chairman of CSA, Yang Zhijian the general manager of COSCO Shipping Bulk, Chen Hongxian the director of Guangzhou Port Authority, Chen Yan and Huang Nan the vice general managers of COSCO Shipping Bulk, leaderships of Waterway Transport Bureau, Guangdong Department of Communications, and etc, as well as some 100 domestic bulk shipping units. The summit was a great success with fruitful achievements.   

Director Yang was invited to addressed on Precautions against Several Legal Risks of Bulk Shipping off the Coast. He elaborated on the topic from 6 aspects——handling after the Technical Specifications of Fire Water Supply and Hydrant System was abolished, validity of carriage contract, cargo lien by carrier, shortlanded and overlanded, affiliation of ship, and validity time of claims of freight and rent. The committee and attendees spoke highly of his lecture. Over 30 general manger or manager of ship companies requested for the slides used in the lecture via Wechat.
