On 25 June 2016, Maritime Law Committee of Guangdong Lawyers Association held the Lecture on Contract of Carriage of Goods by Sea at Guangzhou Zhujiang Hotel. The lecture was honored to have Associate Chief Judge of No.4 Maritime Tribunal of Guangdong Higher People’s Court Mr. Du Yixing as the main speaker. Director Colin Y F Yang (who is presently the Vice-director of Maritime Law Committee of All China Lawyers Association and Director of Maritime Law Committee of Guangdong Lawyers Association) hosted the lecture. Around 150 people from courts, higher education institutions, ship owners, insurance companies and freight forwarding companies etc in the Pearl River Delta have attended the lecture. The lecture was a great success.
